Simple Vanilla Frosting

This recipe makes quite a bit of frosting... two cups I believe. But if you are frosting a cake than you should have plenty! I know I had more than enough for the cookies which left me with some left over to snack on. I was never a huge frosting fan until recently... not sure what has gotten into me... but I love the stuff now!

So here is my favorite simple vanilla frosting recipe. And if you don't want the vanilla flavor, feel free to change up the flavor to coconut, almond or lemon! I would maybe start with a half teaspoon of these flavors and add more if needed! You won't believe just how easy this is!

{yields 2 cups}

4 cups Powdered Sugar
4 tablespoons Butter, softened
1 teaspoon Pure Vanilla Extract
4-6 tablespoons of Whole Milk

In your mixing bowl add the powdered sugar, butter and vanilla. Turn your mixer on medium low and slowly add your whole milk. Adding more milk if needed. Increase the speed to medium until fluffy.

*for special occasions tint the frosting with food color!
