I made apple pie with the provision of Ewa Wachowicz: "Apple pie without eggs." Apple pie is easy to prepare. It consists of apples and the same bulk ingredients such as flour, baking powder, semolina and sugar. Simply mix the ingredients and rub off loose apples and apple pie now almost ready. It does not contain eggs, and fat are added directly to the dough, cover only the chips butter pie from the top. Apple pie is a tasty and simple.
Ingredients:
Dough:
•2 cups semolina
•2 cups flour
•3 teaspoons baking powder
•1 ¾ cup sugar
Filling:
•approximately 2.5 kg sour apple variety is best suited russet
•3 tablespoons sugar
•2 teaspoons cinnamon
In addition:
•150g butter (I gave 200g)
Method of preparation:
1.Wash apples, dry skin, and together with the grate with large holes. Lightly drain. (Do not squeeze all the juice of apples, just a little squeeze!). Add the sugar and cinnamon. Mix.
2.All bulk ingredients for cake mix and divide into 3 parts.
3.To form a rectangular (measuring approximately 35cm x 24cm) greased with butter or margarine and sprinkled with bread crumbs, add 1 part of dry bulk ingredients. Successively put half the apples, the second part of the bulk ingredients, the rest of the apples and the last part of bulk ingredients. From the top of the dough evenly to cover the chips with the butter. (Butter cover the entire surface of the cake).
4.Bake in preheated oven for 55 - 60min. at 180 ° C (350 F).
